Bureau Veritas Hanoi Wireless Laboratory receives Accreditation for 5G Regulatory Testing for Vietnam Market

February 8, 2024 | Hanoi, Vietnam Bureau Veritas, a world leader in testing, inspection, and certification, has announced that its wireless laboratory in Hanoi, Vietnam, has successfully received accreditation to the Vietnamese 5G regulatory standards (QCVN 127, QCVN 129, and QCVN 18). The Ministry of Information and Communications (“MIC”) of Vietnam audited and approved the laboratory for the new accreditation scope. The laboratory can now test and certify all types of 5G-connected devices for Bureau Veritas technology clients around the world looking to place products in Vietnam.

Mr. Nicolas Ribes, General Manager of Bureau Veritas CPS Technology in India and South-East Asia, expressed his delight at the company's accreditation to Vietnam's technology industry transformation and its leadership position in testing services to support clients in penetrating Vietnam’s domestic consumer market, as well as markets worldwide. The growth and government focus on Vietnam's domestic market, fueled by the rollout of 5G infrastructure and rising demand for 5G-enabled devices manufactured within the country, make this accreditation particularly significant for Bureau Veritas.
