Bureau Veritas joins the ISA Program in support of the global ISASecure® ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Conformance Scheme

The ISASecure® Program announced today that Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services, Technology Products Taiwan has signed an agreement to conduct cybersecurity assessments as an ISO/IEC 17065 accredited ISASecure® certification body.

The ISASecure certification program, developed within the International Society of Automation, certifies conformance to the ISA/IEC 62443 series of internationally adopted industrial cybersecurity standards. ISASecure assesses automation and control products and systems to ensure they are robust against network attacks, free from known vulnerabilities, and meet the security capabilities defined in the ISA/IEC 62443 standards.

All ISASecure certifications are conducted by globally recognized ISO/IEC 17065 accredited certification bodies. As a global leader, Bureau Veritas supports its clients in protecting their systems, assets, products and supply chains from cyber risk. Bureau Veritas provides a comprehensive portfolio of cybersecurity assessment services covering the electronics, automotive and wireless industries.

Bureau Veritas has adopted the ISASecure automation controls certification scheme as part of their cybersecurity protection program, addressing the cybersecurity of automation and control systems. “We are excited to be part of the ISASecure Conformity Assessment (CA) scheme as it further supports the work we are doing with our clients to ensure their systems are both safe and secure.” Said Pascal Le-Ray, General Manager at Bureau Veritas CPS Technology Products Taiwan.

The ISASecure program—which currently has ISO/IEC 17065 accredited certification bodies in the US, Japan, Germany, Canada, and soon, Spain and Italy—is rapidly expanding its global reach through additional agreements with certification bodies around the globe who are in the accreditation process.
