Our laboratory was originally born to service both Italian Tanneries and the Luxury Footwear Supply Chain, since then we have developed into one of the main Luxury testing laboratories located along the Italian Luxury corridor.

Our Successful 20 Year Journey

2004 - Certest was born, to serve the tanneries and footwear supply chains
2012 - Saw the first, crucial expansion with the development of our chemical Lab.
2014 - ISO/IEC accreditation
2015 - Certest was acquired by Bureau Veritas Group
2016 - Doubled Lab footprint, expansion into textile testing and China market
+ development of our Inspection, Assessments and Audits activities.
2019 - Opening of second Lab, to keep up with our clients demands.
2020 - Covid struck, we optimises our services to keep our clients operations moving.
2021 - After recovering from the COVID impact, we grew to be number two in Italy.
2024 - 20 years later!

We are proud to say we now have four different sites, with further plans approved to increase our size, scope and capacity beyond 2025!
