What is a Security Audit?

Bureau Veritas’ Security Audit / Security Assessment Services include the latest C-TPAT MSC criteria and requirements, and can assist importers, retailers and manufacturers in completing these required audits. Also, we could provide training to help know details on the latest C-TPAT MSC criteria and actions needed.

What is the C-TPAT?

The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) emerged from the ashes of 9/11 in the US. The aims focused on combating terrorism, protecting the global supply chain while moving commerce across borders even more efficiently and safely. There are various aspects under security requirements covering personnel, physical facilities, access controls, procedures, information technology, training & threat awareness, container, etc.

Our security audit / security assessment is based on leading global brands/retailers’ existing programs and the United States Customs and Border Protection’s (US-CBP) Supply Chain Security Best Practices Catalog, which include the requirements from Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) of US-CBP.
