eFiling Dual Data Capture Solution

One Submission. Less Work.

Bureau Veritas is expanding its eFiling options with a new solution:

  1. Automatic eFiling
Fully automated, no-touch eFiling designed for large retail programs
  2. eFiling Data Capture
Streamlined data collection for organizations requiring occasional manual submissions.
  3. NEW: eFiling Dual Data Capture
Upfront data collection that enables a single submission process for two Product Registries.

Bureau Veritas has expanded its eFiling solutions with Dual Data Capture, a simpler way to manage submissions when submitting testing to a retailer and when product data must be sent to an Importer of Record's (IOR) own CPSC Product Registry.

Powered by OneSource Connect (OSC), Dual Data Capture complies with a retailer test and collects the additional registry and product information upfront within the retailer eTRF. Once testing is complete, the required compliance data can be directed to the appropriate CPSC Product Registry reducing follow-up, duplicate entry, and administrative effort across your network.

How Dual Data Capture Simplifies eFiling

Capture Details Upfront

Provide the additional IOR, Certifier ID, Product Registry, and product details during the eTRF submission.

Submit Once, Route Twice

Identify the additional submission IOR data at the start so completed compliance data can be directed to the retailer program and a second CPSC Product Registry.

Reduce Duplicate Work

Avoid repeating the same submission process after testing. Dual Data Capture uses the information already collected to support the second filing.

Keep the Process Moving

Collecting required details early helps reduce follow-up and gives suppliers and IORs a clearer, more straightforward path to completion.

How eFiling Dual Data Capture Works

1

Identify the Additional Submission
Within the retailer eTRF, indicate the Importer of Record and Product Registry submission is required.

2

Capture Registry Details Upfront
Enter the additional IOR legal name, Certifier ID, and Product Registry information at the time of submission.

3

Add Product Information
Provide the Product ID, product description, manufacture date, and manufacturer details as they should appear in the second CPSC Product Registry.

4

Wait for the Data
Bureau Veritas completes testing and uploads the resulting compliance data for submission to the IOR’s Product Registry.
