What is NFC?

Near Field Communication (NFC) is an international standard for contactless data transmission via electromagnetic induction. NFC services are used for applications such as banking, mobile payments and transport.

NFC uses electromagnetic induction to establish communication between devices. This method involves two key innovations:

· Magnetic Field Transmission: Unlike traditional radio wave communication, NFC transmits data via magnetic field induction
· Extremely Short Range: The communication distance of approximately 10 cm prevents unauthorized interception
