Thread

Thread is a low-power wireless mesh networking protocol enabling devices to communicate seamlessly via IP networks that is promoted by the Thread Group. It is ideal for energy efficient applications, extremely robust, user friendly and offers a high level of security. Thread is generally used with IEEE 802.15.4 ICs/modules. Certification of products using Thread technology can only be obtained from Thread Group approved test laboratories.
