Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services' Wenzhou Laboratory Relocation Strengthens its Capabilities in East China

On October 9, 2024, Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services Wenzhou Lab (BVCPS Wenzhou) held the relocation ceremony at the new lab location. This marks an important milestone in Bureau Veritas' business development in China.

Bureau Veritas executive representatives, Wenzhou Ouhai District government officers, Wenzhou Customs leaders, industry association representatives, and numerous business partners attended the ceremony. Mrs. Rosie Wang, Senior Vice President of BVCPS China and local government leaders presented the speeches respectively. The ceremony was followed by a Lion Dance Performance and Ribbon Cutting. A lab tour was arranged to demonstrate service capability.

BVCPS Wenzhou has relocated to another location in Wenzhou with improved capability and capacity since September 9, 2024. The new address is: 

温州市瓯海经济开发区南湖路27号温州市国家大学科技园25号楼. 5楼
Floor 5, Building 25, National University Science and Technology Park, No.27 Nanhu Road, Ouhai District, Wenzhou, China

Service portfolio and capacity have been enhanced after the change. 

  • The new laboratory covers an area of approximately 2,000 square meters. (+35% increase) 
  • Process optimization with shorter turnaround time (TAT) delivery. 
  • New test services in swimming goggles and packaging materials with enlarged testing laboratory.
  • Test capability expansion in footwear and eyewear.
  • 20 new testing machines added with improved utilization.
  • Strategic portfolio development in the areas of diving goggles, printing and packaging, toys, pet supplies, food contact materials, outdoor unpowered facilities, locks, etc.

The upgrade of BVCPS Wenzhou will further strengthen our capabilities and capacity in the East China region by providing more comprehensive and efficient services to business partners.
