Bureau Veritas Attends CMA Engineering Subcommittee Meeting
Bureau Veritas will attend the Cookware Manufacturers Association (CMA) Engineering Subcommittee Meeting taking place in Chicago, Illinois on March 5, 2019.
The CMA is a not-for-profit trade association made up of US manufacturers of cookware, bakeware and kitchenware. The CMA develops engineering standards for the industry, disseminates information to consumers, retailers and manufacturers, and offers forums for members to learn about the latest advances in manufacturing, retailing, distribution and materials.
Next week’s Engineering Subcommittee Meeting coincides with the last day of the International Housewares Association Show, giving CMA members and testing lab representatives the opportunity to meet. Bureau Veritas representatives Alexander J Picun, Business Development, and Noah Sinkiewicz, Senior Lab Technician, will be in attendance and look forward to meeting with CMA members to discuss cookware standards and quality and testing needs.
Bureau Veritas’ full scope of cookware testing capabilities include compliance to CMA engineering standards, other industry performance requirements and both domestic and international regulations. We also offer comparison testing to national brands, competitor’s products or vendor specifications; evaluation for package and labeling requirements, commercial / hospitality requirements, and much more. Additionally, Bureau Veritas develops custom testing to address issues that occur in the market despite prior standard performance testing.
