Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services organized a Beach Cleanup Event on World Environment Day 2024

In celebration of World Environment Day on June 5th, 2024, Bureau Veritas CPS partnered with a local NGO to organize a beach cleanup at Shek O Beach in Hong Kong, showcasing their commitment to Generation Restoration through collective action. This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a clean and healthy coastal environment.

Throughout the day, Bureau Veritas CPS collected 28 bags of trash and debris, weighing 122.5 kg, including plastic buckets, large blocks of styrofoam, and a massive fishing rope. The beach cleanup was part of Bureau Veritas' broader corporate social responsibility efforts to shape a better world. Through initiatives like this, the company aims to engage employees and communities in collective action to address environmental challenges. Bureau Veritas CPS' wide range of sustainability services includes testing for restricted and harmful substances, packaging advisory, environmental audit, and certification, all aligning with the goal of "Shaping a Better Environment."
