Bureau Veritas Launches Comprehensive EUDR Service for Impacted Businesses

April 7, 2025 | Bureau Veritas Consumer Products Services ("Bureau Veritas"), a global leader in testing, inspection, and certification services, today announced the launch of its European Union Deforestation Regulation (“EUDR”) Service.

Bureau Veritas provides end-to-end support for businesses to meet the requirements of EUDR, which when enforced on 30th December 2025, aims to verify that commodities and products derived from them sold on the EU market have not contributed to deforestation. 

It leverages Bureau Veritas' proficiency in supply chain management to support businesses to build visibility across global value chains to verify key commodities such as cattle, oil palm, rubber and wood, and products derived from them, including footwear and leather products, furniture, tires and more have been produced in accordance with EUDR.

The service supports businesses in mapping their supply chain, assessing risks, put in place risk mitigation measures and conduct audits to verify their implementation, enabling clients to complete EUDR due diligence statements. It is supported by Bureau Veritas' global network of specialists and utilizes BV Academy for training on EUDR requirements.
