Bureau Veritas to Meet with CPSC & Visit Hill
Bureau Veritas, the global leading Testing, Inspection and Certification provider, is pleased to announce that Rick Rosati, Vice President of Government Affairs and Industry Standards, will be in Washington, DC, this week to meet with all five US Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioners and participate in the IFIA Hill Day.
Meet the Commissioners
Rick will meet with all five CPSC Commissioners on Tuesday, March 26 to dicsuss a wide a range of topics including the ASTM F15 Executive Committee on consumer products, which Rick is the chair of, the ASTM's work on the clothing storage unit tipover standard and the testing industry in general.
IFIA Hill Day
Representatives from the International Federation of Inspection Agencies (IFIA) and American Council of Independent Laboratories (ACIL) will be in Washington, DC on March 28 for a Hill Day. Rick Rosati and other members will participate in the planned activites that include meetings with various Congressional representatives. The intent of the Hill Day meetings is to promote the benefits of the testing, industry and certification (TIC) industry and the value third party independent testing and conformity assessment brings to consumer product safety.
