Bureau Veritas NEW eFiling Data Capture Solution
Compliance Without Complexity
Bureau Veritas has launched a new eFiling solution designed to streamline supplier-led submissions and simplify compliance data management for Importers of Record (IOR).
Powered by OneSource Connect (OSC), eFiling Data Capture enables the structured collection and distribution of product and compliance data—reducing manual effort, improving data accuracy, and helping ensure regulatory compliance ahead of the July 8 effective date. It also supports suppliers (acting as IOR) in completing required filings while testing is conducted under retailer programs.

Bureau Veritas eFiling Data Capture Solution FAQs
Q: When is OneSource Connect (OSC) eFiling Data Capture module used?
A: When the supplier is the Importer of Record.
Q: Who completes the eFiling?
A: Test is system-generated; suppliers complete product and factory details.
Q: Is API integration required?
A: No, CSV output is also supported.
Q: What data is pre-populated?
A: Lab information, citation data, and exemption data.
Q: How does this differ from other enhancements?
A: This is not a fully automated solution that does require importer inputs to be provided. The purpose is that when a supplier is the importer testing under a retailer program, they need a solution to get the data in their own CPSC Product Registry to be used for importing goods. This is a brand-new capability for Bureau Veritas.
Q: What is the fee?
A: $20/report
Q: How are charges applied?
A: Expected through OSC upon completion (pending confirmation).
Q: What does setup look like? What does the customer need to do?
A: Setup is minimal. Customer needs to log into OSC and select ‘eFiling Data Capture’ in the toolbar on the left.
