Bureau Veritas Shanghai receives EMC Laboratory Accreditation by FCA

Bureau Veritas, a leading testing, inspection and certification provider announces its Shanghai EMC Laboratory has been accredited by FCA (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles). Bureau Veritas Shanghai is one of the few EMC laboratories in China certified by all three major automobile manufacturers in North America, including FCA. Backed by Technical Competence Centers in the Americas, EMEA and Asia, Bureau Veritas provide comprehensive testing and certification services and global market access solution to support the automotive supply chain to manage the ever-changing requirements for today’s and tomorrow's New Mobility.

Bureau Veritas has had its Chinese automotive testing hub in Songjiang since 2013 with auto centers also located throughout the country providing comprehensive testing and certification services for interiors and exteriors of fuel vehicles/new energy vehicles including electronic systems, tires, and components. Services include intelligent network connection, EMC testing, reliability testing, material testing, chemical testing, certification, inspection, training and other technical services.

In terms of EMC services, based on the original electromagnetic compatibility tests, Shanghai and Guangzhou laboratories have recently expanded the EMC testing supporting R10E-Mark. Bureau Veritas will continue to work on complete vehicles, intelligent networking and new energy key components and other fields that have increased and accelerated capacity building, making important contributions to the development of China's automobile industry.
