Bureau Veritas to Speak at OECD Workshop

Bureau Veritas’ Jesse Lowe will be speaking at the OECD Virtual Workshop on the impact of products incorporating digital technology on consumer product safety, taking place virtually on February 8, 2024.

The workshop will discuss the impact on consumers’ health and safety of products incorporating digital technologies, such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), and immersive environments. 

The workshop is open to officials of consumer protection policymaking and enforcement agencies, relevant academics, business and civil society. All participants are welcome to intervene and share their insights and comments in the Q&A sessions.

Jesse Lowe has been with Bureau Veritas for more than two years and serves as a Technical Consultant Specialist. He has worked in consumer robotics manufacturing and is also a member of the ASTM F15.75 technical committee for connected products. Jesse has been supporting task group work on the new ASTM requirements for Artificial Intelligence.
