Compliance with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) laws requires producers to have a full understanding and transparency of their supply chain. Producers must determine if they are obligated under each EPR law and register with the proper state Producer Responsibility Organization (PRO) or Stewardship Organization (SO).
Bureau Veritas can help producers identify their reporting obligations and determine the amount of covered material they sell, as well as the quantity of problematic materials used. We can also assist in identifying material reduction strategies, including right-sizing, shifting to bulk, and using non-plastic alternative materials. Additionally, we can help calculate the recycled content to virgin material ratio.
