Mandatory Standard GB 38995-2020 Infant Feeding Bottles and Teats is Published by State Administration of Market Regulation (standardization administration) and Effective November 1, 2021 

Feeding bottles and teats are common products in the market, and their quality performance matters to the growth and health of infants. Chinese State administration of market regulation (standardization administration) has published mandatory standard GB 38995-2020 Infant feeding bottles and teats recently. This standard stipulates the safety, labelling, and other requirements, which will be implemented from Nov 1st, 2021. 

This standard is focused on physical safety properties, it specifies detailed requirements from product labelling to the proper usage by consumer in order to lower risks. Infant feeding bottles and teats also need to comply with mandatory national food contact safety standards for materials and products.
