This update provides surveillance results of product quality inspections and recall cases regarding food contact products, which are based on market surveillance results published by local administration of market regulation and notifications released by local defective product administrative centers across China. These non-compliant parameters and risks include technical requirements originated from mandatory and recommended standards.Notably, as the biodegradable plastic products are increasingly supplied on the market, the market surveillance activities also inspected biodegradability apart from the food safety parameters.
