China Recently Released New and Revised Standards for Toy and Children Products

China has released a series of toy and children product standards on October 5th, 2025. Among these standards including China updated mandatory toy standards GB 6675.1-2025, GB 6675.2-2025, GB 6675.3-2025, and GB 6675.4-2025. China has also updated toy labeling standard GB/T 5296.5-2025, together releasing 3 new test standards for toy products.

At the same time, China has released numerous juvenile product standards, many of them are new standards.

Please beware that some of these products are subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC).

These updates have significant impacts on the requirements of toy and children products in China market, particularly many of those are mandatory standards. Manufacturers and retailers should pay attention to the changes and ensure products that are sold in China and within the scope of these standards meet the latest requirements when they become effective.
