China Standard GB/T 40355-2021 Stainless Steel Vacuum Container Effective March 1 2022

Chinese state administration of market regulation (Standardization administration) published GB/T 40355-2021 Stainless steel vacuum container in the 11th national standard announcement in 2021. This standard is a recommended product standard, stipulating requirements for stainless steel vacuum containers over safety, function, material, marking and labelling, etc. This standard covers certain products that having no applicable product standard in China market, such as stainless steel vacuum thermal cooking pots. Any stainless vacuum containers following this standard shall also comply with mandatory national food safety standards regarding food contact materials and products. This standard will enter into force on March 1st, 2022.
