PFAS IN CONSUMER PRODUCTS - FURTHER PERFLUORINATED SUBSTANCES INCLUDED IN THE SCOPE OF TESTING
In addition to the usual scope of testing according to AFIRM, Bureau Veritas CPS Schwerin has extended the scope of testing by 5 additional PFAS.
Currently, there is a dossier in the European jurisdiction to regulate the entire group of PFAS.
We are constantly expanding the scope of testing for possible PFCs.

TOTAL MIGRATION WITH OLIVE OIL - DIN EN 1186-2:2022
After successful completion of the validation, we can offer you the total migration with olive oil at the Schwerin site.
This means that the entire range of different food simulants
can be tested at the Schwerin site:
- Dest. water,
- 3% acetic acid,
- 10%, 20% and 50 % ethanol
- olive oil,
- substitute simulants for oil: 95% ethanol and isooctane
SPECIFIC MIGRATION FLUOR ACCORDING TO BFR RECOMMENDATION LI IN NON-STICK COATINGS
According to the BfR, the specific migration value of fluorine of 0.05 mg/dm² must not be exceeded for temperature-resistant coating systems.
As part of the continuous expansion of our scope, we are pleased to inform you that we can now also offer you this test directly on site.
CHEMICAL TESTS ACCORDING TO THE APPENDIX OF THE PROPOSAL OF THE TOY REGULATION
The proposal of the Toy Regulation is finally available since the end of July. The current proposal extends the requirements of the former Annex C to all toys, no longer only for toys for children under 3 years.
