ECHA Adds Five Hazardous Chemicals to the Candidate List and Updates One Entry

The ECHA has added 5 new hazardous chemicals to the SVHC Candidate list, bringing the total number of entries to 247. One other chemical was updated to reflect its endocrine disrupting properties.

Requirement Summary and Effective Dates:

On January 21st, 2025, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) announced the addition of five hazardous chemicals to the Candidate List of SVHCs (Substances of Very High Concern), effective immediately.
