Maine Issued Third Concept Draft Regarding Implementation of PFAS Bill

Maine’s Department of Environmental Protection has issued a third concept draft related to the implementation of the PFAS reporting law (Chapter 90: Products Containing Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances).

The draft is available via web link: https://www.maine.gov/dep/rules/index.html#10415809

There will be a public hearing on April 20 and a public comment period has been opened related to this draft. Comments can be submitted by emailing: rulecomments.dep@maine.gov.

The public comment period will close on May 19, 2023.
