The European Chemical Agency has launched a new public consultation concerning two potential SVHC. Stakeholders can provide comments on these proposed SVHC until 03 April 2023. Comments will be taken into account when deciding whether the substances will be added to the ECHA Candidate List of SVHC.
Background
On 17 February 2023, the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) published two new potential Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) candidates (see below table). After preparing dossiers for the substances, the ECHA has now invited interested parties to a public consultation in which they can provide comments within a timeframe of 45 days (until 03 April 2023).
A decision will be made as to whether the substances will be included to the ECHA Candidate List of SVHC after the consultation.
