Richard Rosati Named Instructor for The Consumer Product Safety Professional Certification Program

Bureau Veritas is pleased to announce that Richard Rosati, Vice President of Governmental Affairs and Industry Standards, has been named an instructor for the Consumer Product Safety Professional Certification Program developed by the Society of Product Safety Professionals (SPSP). 

The Consumer Product Safety Professional Certification Program is for industry professionals who help design and manage product safety systems. The 2019 course begins on January 16 at the Emerson Leadership Institute within Saint Louis University’s Chaifetz School of Business. The course features two workshops and a series of distance learning webinars on topics related to the five knowledge areas. Instructors include professors from the Chaifetz School and current product safety experts and authorities.

Rick has been with Bureau Veritas since 2000. In his current role, Rick is responsible for monitoring and communicating legislative and regulatory activity, participating in pertinent standards development activity and supporting industry activities and trade shows.   Rick is a member of ASTM, JPMA,TIA and ICPHSO and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors of ICPHSO.  Rick also is the Chair of the ASTM F15 Executive Committee for Consumer Products.  Rick has presented at various conferences and trade shows including ICPHSO, ACI, DRI, JPMA, Toy Fair, AAFA, Magic and CPSC hearings.  Rick has a Bachelors’ degree in Industrial Technology from the State University College at Buffalo and a MBA in international business from St. Bonaventure University.
