NY Governor Approved Decorative Lighting Products Warning Label Bill

New York State Governor Kathy Hochul signed AB 4522 Seasonal and Decorative Lighting Products Warning Label bill on November 30. The bill becomes effective 90 days after signed into law. This Act provides that on each seasonal and decorative lighting product manufactured, sold or delivered by a manufacturer or distributed within the state of New York that contains an electrical cord casing with more than 100ppm lead, shall have a warning label attached or printed on the product.
