Bureau Veritas' Detroit Automotive Laboratory Approved by Ford

BVCPS has announced that its automotive laboratory in Detroit, USA has been approved by Ford for FMC (Ford Motor Company) 1278 testing. This new recognition enhances the presence of Bureau Veritas as a key testing player in the automotive supply chain.

BVCPS has announced a significant breakthrough with the long-term partner, i.safe MOBILE GmbH - the explosion-proof certification of a 5G capable smartphone. The device was evaluated based on the standards IEC 60079-0 and IEC 60079-11 with regards to the requirements for the ignition protection type "intrinsic safety".
