Thailand NBTC issued public hearing for New Standard NBTC TS 1035-256X Radiocommunication equipment using 2.4GHz and/or 5GHz

The National Broadcasting & Telecommunications Commission (NBTC) plans to announce the following technical standards/requirements:
1) NBTC TS 1035-256X Radiocommunication equipment using 2.4G Hz and/or 5 GHz. (This will cancel the standard NTC TS 1012-2551 RLAN)
2) NBTC Notification on the use of Short Range Devices in the band 5 GHz.
The main changes from the existing standards:
The additional requirement to comply with Safety and EMF/SAR standards.
The frequency usage of 5.150-5.350 GHz and 5.470-5.725 GHz shall not be used for fixed service as per national frequency allocation table.
Frequency 5.725-5.850 GHz can be used for Radiocommunication equipment using Broadband Wireless Access in Radio Local Area Network (RLAN) or Long Term Evolution (LTE) technology (as Private Network).
