Thailand NBTC standards update for EMC NBTC TS 3001-2561, Electrical Safety NBTC TS 4001-2561

On March 14, 2019, the National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission of Thailand (NBTC) has released the following standards:

NBTC TS 3001-2561 (update standard for Electro magnetic Compatibility) – this standard will replace NBTC TS 3001-2555
NBTC TS 4001-2561 (update standard for Electrical Safety) – this standard will replace NTC TS 4001-2550
Effective date:  15 March, 2019

Summary of the changes:

NBTC TS 3001-2561 - this EMC requirements shall be complied with one of the following standards or other equivalent standards:

- TIS1956-2553

- CISPR22: 2008

- CISPR32: 2015

Applicable products under this announcement:

Non RF telecommunication equipment such as Telephone set, facsimile equipment, key telephone system, modem, data terminal equipment, PABX, xDSL equipment.

 

NBTC TS 4001-2561 - this Electrical safety requirements shall be complied with one of the following standards or other equivalent standards:

- TIS1561-2556

- IEC60950-1

- IEC62368-1
