On August 8, 2019, the EU Commission adopted two Directives amending Annex III of Directive EU 2011/65/EU Restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment.
The EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU restricting the use of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. Annexes III and IV to RoHS 2 include the materials and components of electrical and electronic equipment (EEE) for specific applications exempted from the substance restrictions of the Directive.
