UK: The Ivory Prohibitions (Exemptions) (Process and Procedure) Regulations 2022

SI 2022/94 - The Ivory Prohibitions (Exemptions) (Process and Procedure) Regulations 2022 have been published.

These Regulations establish provisions for the implementation of the Ivory Act 2018 (c. 30).  The Act prohibits dealing in ivory unless the item either qualifies for an exemption per the requirements or is registered as falling under one of four categories for exemption, as specified.

These Regulations come into force on 24th February 2022.
