Jul. 3 2024
Effective June 26, 2024, the State of Utah updated the regulatory requirements regarding slipper labeling. They will no longer require the bottom/outsole filling to be disclosed on the labeling.
The State of Utah updated their regulatory requirements regarding slipper labeling.
The change in policy will now only require the top portion/upper of a slipper to be disclosed for the hidden filling material. The bottom portion/outsole is exempt from listing the hidden filling material on textile label. All other labeling requirements remain unchanged.
Previously, the State of Utah required that any filling material used in both the top (upper) and bottom (outsole) portion of the slipper needed to be listed on the textile label.
