Utah Eliminated Online Content Requirements for Bedding, Upholstered Furniture & Quilted Clothing

Effective April 9, 2025, Utah Rule, R70-101, Bedding, Upholstered Furniture, and Quilted Clothing Inspection Act has been updated to eliminate the online content requirement.The Bedding, Upholstered Furniture, and Quilted Clothing Rule, R70-101, has been updated to remove the sections of the law pertaining to online requirements and digital labels to be displayed on the articles’ online web page. This will not be required for product disclosures for online sales, effective April 9, 2025.Utah will still issue licenses and require registration for bedding, upholstered furniture, and apparel.
