Eco Modulation Bonus Scheme

The Eco Modulation Bonus scheme is based on testing data to prove that a product fits within the criteria and is a valid product to be part of the scheme.

Once approved the product owner is rewarded with:

- Bonus for the durability of products
- Bonus for obtaining certain environmental certifications
- Bonus for the incorporation of raw recycled materials

There are also penalties incurred for the presence of metalloplastic fibers, electronic or electrical components in textile products or the non-recyclability of textiles and footwear products.

What Products are in scope?

- Knitted Clothes (excluding baby products)
- Woven Clothes (excluding baby products)
- Knitted Clothes for Baby (0-36 mths)
- Woven Clothes for Baby (0-36 mths)
- Household Linen
- All Types of Footwear

Each category has specific protocols per products type e.g. knitted t-shirt

Who can perform ReFashion Testing?

Bureau Veritas is one of only a selection of labs with capability of ReFashion testing scope and accredited to ISO 17025.

The test are based on the following:

- Products to be washed/laundered, dried and ironed (if applicable) following care label for each cycle.
- All testing MUST be carried out on finished products
