An accreditation and proficiency testing scheme

A bespoke program created by the Bureau Veritas CPS UK team to allow retailers/brands/manufacturers to work with factory testing facilities. A services that is supported by our experienced team who have a solid understanding of textile technology, method implementation, training and development. 

By using our knowledge and experience and at little cost to your partner/your lab, we are able to conduct on-site/virtual factory accreditation and proficiency visits evaluating tests, techniques and reported results, running alongside our established proficiency test schedule.

Application form

From the list select the tests you wish to participate in. There is 1 Round which consists of 5 tests and 3 rounds which consists of 6 tests. 

2020 saw the introduction of BS 8479: 2008 Determination of propensity of fabrics to snagging – Rotating chamber method. 2022 saw the introduction of p.H value BS EN ISO 3071: 2020.

Please note in order to offer Determination of propensity of fabrics to snagging – Rotating chamber method, we must receive more than 11 applicant labs wishing to participate in this test. If you paid for snagging the previous year and this was not included in last years rounds you will NOT be charged for the snagging test participation this year.

BV CORRELATION SCHEME can provide participants with an optional certificate on completion of an annual correlation, which includes: Participation Summary: A detailed review of all rounds in which you participated in; - Certification of Participation: An official certificate issued by Bureau Veritas BV CORRELATION SCHEME which specifically lists all tests that achieved a ‘satisfactory’ correlation result.
