CA Proposition 65: Settlements/Judgements Summary for Q4

Enforcement Trends
• Product categories with the most settlements/judgements: 
    o Food and Dietary Supplements: 49%
    o Receipts with BPS: 13%
• Metals were the chemicals named in the most settlements and judgements and accounted for 62% of all settlements/judgements. 302 settlements/judgments were for lead, 19 for cadmium, 11 for two or more metals, 2 for arsenic and one for mercury.
• Phthalates accounted for 14% of settlements/judgements, with 49 settlements/judgements for DEHP, 14 for DINP, 2 for DBP, and 10 for two or more phthalates. 
• BPA/BPS also accounted for 14% of settlements/judgements, with 69 for BPS and 4 for BPA. 
• PFAS Note: There were 11 settlements/judgements for PFAS chemicals.
